ARTIST'S STATEMENT

I am best known for my fanciful animal portraits in vibrant watercolors. When choosing color I make my decisions intuitively; painting from my creative spirit. I paint wet, on dry unstretched paper, using techniques such as splattering, scraping, and salt.

Currently my body of work includes still-lifes of vintage toys. Toys that have been left out in the elements, faded, rusted patina, run over, and chewed on, still bringing joy to all who view them.
